FUNDRAISING EVENT

Ever wanted to climb Mount Everest?  Now you can from the safety (and warmth!) of Clip n Climb, Leeds.

In case you haven't heard, Little Hiccups are 10 in 2019 and we're celebrating BIG! We have fun activities planned throughout the year but our main goal this year is to fundraise a fantastic £10,000 a MONTH to help us support families for another 10 years.

Mount Everest is 8848m high and on July 29th 2019 we're going to conquer it. There are 30 walls to split between all the climbers and one wall will be reserved for SEND climbers with the SEND harness. That means on average each wall will need to be climbed 40 times. The idea is to count individual climbs and add them together until we reach 8848m. So we'll be climbing as a team. 

This event is open to everyone who wants to help us raise funds. Corporate teams, Hiccups families, friends and families and children are all invited. All you need to do is raise a minimum of 50 pounds per family although we'll happily accept more! Why not get people to sponsor you per climb or for the whole event?

Little Hiccups will subsidise a t-shirt or vest for £5 for everyone raising funds but the full price with then need to be paid on any extra clothing. I can also send out fundraising packs to anyone interested. Fundraising packs contain an introductory leaflet with a sponsor form, stickers, posters and a coin box. Email Miriam on info@littlehiccups.co.uk to request one.

Clip n Climb are kindly giving us the venue for FREE to help with our fundraising efforts. We only ask that you do not bring your own food on the day but there is a cafe (And I can honestly vouch for the food there  - its gorgeous!) to help support them supporting us.

If this event is very popular we may split the day into slots to prevent the venue from getting too crowded (We can have 140 maximum including supporters). The event is on July 29th 2019. Training will start at 9.30am and run every 30 minutes. The fundraising challenge will start at 10am and run till we're done!
